King Morpheus has an invited you to come to Slumberland, the guide will tell you about Slumberland.
Little Nemo in Slumberland was a weekly comic strip by Winsor McCay that was feature in the New York Herald
newspaper from 1905 to 1910 and the New York American newspaper from 1911 to 1914, which then was named In the Land of Wonderful Dreams.
Each comic was about a boy name Nemo’s nightly dreams of being in Slumberland
or the realm of King Morpheus. The king wanted Nemo to be a playmate for his daughter. At the end of each panel he wakes up in his bed,
by an adult, and realizing that it was all a dream. In the earlier comics Nemo was always trying to reach Slumberland what always woke
up Nemo from his dream was something bad going on in the dream like, him being crushed by giant mushrooms or falling from something.
In the later comics he is woken up by Flip a character who has a hat on that has“WAKE UP” written on it. The comic was not a happy
and simple children story, it was sometimes dark, surreal, and violent.
